For increased creativity and photographic control, the PowerShot A80 has an easy-to-use Mode Dial with 12 shooting modes such as Auto, Portrait, Landscape, Movie and full manual modes. Two custom settings allow a combination of your preferred modes to be saved.

9-Point Artificial Intelligent Auto Focus (AiAF)
The PowerShot A80 can automatically detect your subject, even if it's off-centre in the frame. It chooses the best focus point from nine fixed focusing areas across your shooting scene so the final image will be accurate and sharp.

Increased flexibility
Unique in its class, the PowerShot A80 has a vari-angle LCD that can be twisted in different directions to free you from shooting constraints. It's ideal for shots that require tricky positioning.

Easy printing
The PowerShot A80 meets the new PictBridge direct printing standard, to allow it to simply connect to any other PictBridge-compliant printer for easy printing without a PC. Canon Card Photo Printers CP-200 or CP-300 are ideal for 6 x 4" size photos, or for A4 direct prints Canon Bubble Jet Direct printers are perfect.

Image management
The PowerShot A80 comes with a complete range of software. ZoomBrowser EX (Windows) and ImageBrowser (Mac) to download, store and organise your images, PhotoStitch to create perfect panoramas, and PhotoRecord, for easy printing and creating photo albums. There's also the CANON iMAGE GATEWAY – 100MB of free Internet space where you can create online photo albums and e-mail images to friends and family.
